Bilberry
Vaccinium myrtillus, Bilberry. Dense, low growing ericaceous shrubs. Small flowers in spring followed by small edible dark blue berries. Generally found on acidic moorland, with Ling Heather, Calluna vulgaris. Recovers with new growth after heather burning.
