Trametes hirsuta
Hairy Bracket
Trametes hirsuta, Hairy Bracket. A saprophytic fungus found on dead and decaying wood. Similar to Trametes versicolor, but with a leathery texture and hairy upper surface. Top of thallus shows fan-shaped coloured bands. Unerside of thallus is cream coloured with a pore type structure.
