Prunella modularis
Dunnock
Prunella modularis, Dunnock or Hedge Sparrow, is a small brown bird, usually seen in ones or pairs, prefering to stay under cover. It has a mixed diet of insects and seeds. Will enter gardens with hedges or well developed shrub cover.
