Pholcus phalangioides, Cellar Spider. Originally a sub-tropical species, spread around the world by man. Only found in warm buildings in Britain. Usually seen on the juction between a wall and ceiling. Females larger than males and carry their eggs.Feed on invertebrates, including spiders.
