Green Cellar Slug

Limacus maculatus, Green Cellar Slug. A native of south east Europe, but now well established in northern Europe, including the UK. Usually associated with humans, particularly around houses. Examples here were found under a plastic recycling bin. A medium to large slug, feeding on decaying material and detritus. Not considered to be a garden pest.
