Lecidella elaeochroma, Crustose lichen. A common lichen in less air polluted areas, living on smooth bark on deciduous trees, particularly twigs. Often forming mosaics with another crustose lichen, Lecanora chlarotera. Thallus bounded by a thick, black, prothallus. Apothecia black.
