Coloeus monedula

Jackdaw

Coloeus monedula, formerly Corvus monedula, Jackdaw, is one of the smaller crows, distinguished by grey on the head. They form large flocks, roosting in tall trees around the village of Redmire. They have a varied diet of insects, young birds, seeds and readily take suet.
