White-lipped Snail
Cepaea hortensis, White-lipped Snail. A medium sized snail inhabiting damp habitats in hedgerows, woodland and grassy places. Feeds on a variety of plants including Stinging Nettle and Hogweed. Variable in shell colour, but distinguished by the white lip.
