Common pill-bug
Armadillidium vulgare, Common pill-bug, is a large Woodlouse notable by its ability to roll into an armoured ball when threatened. It is commonly found in limestone areas, feeding on decaying plant material, algae and lichens. It is able to withstand drier conditions than most woodlice.
